Juliana Knox
My name is Juliana Knox and I am a student at Avonworth High School. I have an interest in science and medicine that began when I was young and has built over the years. I decided that I should act on that in 11th grade when I joined the Pathway of Health and Medicine. The pathway has not only allowed me to expand my knowledge but also my experiences. Aiding and helping me on my journey has always been my supportive parents.
My family and friends are everything to me and helped craft me as a human being. I am an animal lover and have been surrounded by them my whole life. At the moment, I have two adorable cats that are sweet and loving. I love hanging out with my friends and learning new things that are interesting and stimulate the brain. Besides health, I find architecture to be quite fascinating and am intrigued by all the breathtaking buildings that are in the world. Babysitting is a job that I have undertaken for many years, from babysitting my brother to my neighbors.
Currently, I am involved with a volunteering organization devoted to giving girls in foreign countries the tools they need to go to school during their menstrual cycle. Day’s for Girls has helped me give back and aid women that are struggling to live because they don’t have the required materials that someone would need during their period. I became involved with this organization when my grandma started helping them out during the day. Once she asked me to help cut the ribbon and organize underwear for distribution, I was sold. Since then, I have been an adamant supporter of the cause and love to help out.
