Overview
The Junior Medical Pathway Seminar at Duquesne University was an interactive and amazing learning experience that enabled me to learn from many different cadavers and medical students.
During this seminar, I learned about the underlying conditions that led to the deaths of several cadavers. In one situation, a man that suffered blunt force trauma to the head from a fall from a lawn mower resulting in his death. I had the opportunity to examine the inside of his skull. I also studied the postmortem condition of a patient who died from a cardiac disease and had a pacemaker.
